They are very young for our senior program, but because we want them to go home asap, we are willing to allow them to be part of it. They need to stay together. These bonded 6-year-old brothers are big, handsome boys looking for their forever home together. Life turned upside down when they were surrendered, and it took them some time to adjust to shelter life. One of them is more outgoing, while the other is a little more reserved — but both are making great progress. We believe once Russ and Rye feel safe and loved in a home, they'll blossom into the sweetest companions and your very best friends. Because they share such a close bond, Russ and Rye must be adopted together.

Whiskers Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our cats and kittens are tested for FIV and FeLV and receive age-appropriate vaccines. They are spayed/neutered at 4 months of age. Younger kittens come with a voucher (included in their adoption fee) that may be redeemed for a free spay/neuter at Southbury Veterinary Hospital. Approved application and vet reference (or an interview, if you don't have a vet) required to adopt.
