Violin's Story

Special requirements: Would prefer to be the only pet in the home

Violin has quite the story to tell! This beautiful gray tabby was found wandering outside by kind members of the public who quickly realized she was much too friendly to be living on her own. They welcomed her into their home, only to discover they were about to become surprise grandparents when Violin gave birth to a litter of kittens!

After being an amazing mom and raising her babies until they were ready to venture out on their own, it's finally Violin's turn to be the center of someone's world. Now that her motherhood duties are behind her, she's decided she'd much rather soak up all the love and attention for herself! Because of this, Violin will likely be happiest as the only pet in her forever home.

At around 2 years old, Violin is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves spending time with her people, chasing toys, and keeping a close eye on the neighborhood from her favorite window perch. Watching birds flutter by is one of her favorite pastimes-especially when those pesky little visitors dare to get a bit too close to the glass!

If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion who is ready to leave motherhood behind and enjoy a life full of cuddles, playtime, and sunny window naps, Violin is ready to make beautiful music in your home.

West Suburban Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Dog and cat adoptions are the foundation of our mission and the services we offer. After more than 48 years of helping find compatible and loving homes for the animals in our care, we still have a lot more to do. There are thousands of homeless animals in the Chicagoland area waiting to find homes. We hope that you will take the time to learn more about our adoption process and consider adopting one of our current residents. WSHS does its best to match adopters with the dog or cat that would be best suited to their family situation and lifestyle.
