Violet Has Known Hardship, Now She Needs Love's Story
Meet Violet 🌸

Violet’s early life didn’t turn out the way it should have. She was born in a home and lovingly kept as a kitten, but as time went on the household became overwhelmed with far too many cats. Within just a couple of years, Violet found herself confined to a single room with multiple cats, where she was repeatedly bullied and too frightened to even come out from under the bed. The conditions were heartbreaking—severe flea infestation, constant stress, and unimaginable filth. As a result, Violet lost much of her beautiful coat.

The good news? Violet is safe now. She’s been treated for fleas, the overcrowding has been resolved, and her fur is already starting to grow back. More importantly, she’s finally getting the chance she deserves.

Violet is around 3 years old, a gorgeous black smoke, medium-haired girl, and she is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She’s a very clean kitty who clearly hated living in unsanitary conditions and truly appreciates a calm, tidy space.

She can be shy when first meeting new people, which is completely understandable given her past. But once she feels safe, Violet is an absolute sweetheart. She just needs someone patient and kind—someone who understands that trust takes time, and that the reward will be watching her blossom into the loving, content cat she’s meant to be.

Because of the severe bullying she endured, Violet would do best as an only cat. She wants to be someone’s one and only, finally able to relax without fear.

Violet is currently being fostered in Everett. She may not “show” well at a meet-and-greet, but with time, consistency, and love, we know she will truly shine in a forever home where she feels safe and cherished.

If you’re interested in giving Violet the loving home she’s been waiting for, please email saranw1103@gmail.com with information about yourself and the home you can offer her.

Violet has survived so much—now she’s ready to finally live. 💜
