Violet's Story

Meet Violet!

Violet is a tiny 5-6 month old, luxurious haired kitten weighing just over 3 pounds. She has crystal blue eyes and is truly a little fairy of a cat- delicate, quiet, and absolutely stunning with her unusual, rare brown coloring that makes her a standout in the most magical way.

Violet had a difficult start to life, surviving, but mostly starving in an industrial complex with her siblings. Stray dogs were a constant fear and ultimately did get her siblings. Because of that, she is timid and cautious with new people and new environments. She will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Violet may need several weeks or longer to fully adjust and feel safe in her new home, but once she does, her sweet personality begins to shine. (She took about 3 weeks to become comfortable with her foster mom and then was her little lap buddy. She had another few weeks adjustment period when she was moved into a larger foster room.)

When Violet trusts you, she becomes the most precious companion. She loves curling up on your lap or snuggling close against you for cozy naps. She enjoys playtime with toys and wands, but would love to just spend an evening cuddled beside you watching movies. She is a soft, quiet little soul who will deeply appreciate her person.

Violet would do best in a calm, peaceful home. Because she is sensitive (and will run and hide) to loud noises and quick movements, a home without children and dogs would be ideal. She is easily frightened. She has not been around other cats, but with a slow and patient introduction she would most likely be okay to have a younger kitten sibling.

This tiny survivor deserves a safe, quiet home where she can finally relax and just be a kitten. If you have a gentle heart and the patience to let Violet blossom at her own pace, she will reward you with unwavering gratitude and loud rumbly purrs.

Violet isn't just looking for a home, she's looking for her safe place. Her safe person. Where she can finally breathe deep and live the relaxing life she deserves.

*Violet will be spayed, have her first two series of vaccines, and be microchiped before adoption. She is flea treated, de-wormed. Her vet records can be transferred from our hospital at adoption. She has perfect litter box manners.
