Violet's Story
Violet is a little grandma with a quiet disposition. She has had a fullfilling life, and is quite ready to retire. She told us she prefers a beachfront condo, and we gently informed her that this is actually Nebraska, so she's compromising with just wanting a warm and cozy lap she can sit on while watching cruise videos. She is FIV+* and dental disease is her only symptom we have found so far. She has had a dental check up and had 9 teeth removed! She has recovered very well and is happy to take treats from everyone. *Please consult your vet for up to date information on FIV.

The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.

We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.

Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!

***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.

Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission
