Violet's Story

Violet was found in the Home Depot garden center in November of 2024 very pregnant and very hungry. The employees there were doing the best they could feeding her and keeping her warm but a storm was coming and they knew that if her babies were born they would not survive. An Illinois Animal Rescue volunteer happened to be shopping and one of the employees alerted him to her plight.
She was rescued that evening and blessed with a warm birthing suite and plenty of food. All 6 of her kittens survived the cold winter and have been adopted. We thought Violet would like to stay in her foster home but she appears to now want to have a more quiet home of her own, where she can settle down and have some space. Does anyone have a home for such a beautiful girl? She had such a hard first 2 years of life and was such a good mom. In her outside life something happened to her tail, and it is a bit short, but she is still very pretty. Please consider giving this girl a home. She has a lot of love to give a family.

She has had all frvcp boosters, deworming, rabies and spay. Her adoption fee is only $125. Please contact Donna if interested in adoption. donnarezman@gmail.com -630-817-6814
