Viola's Story

Viola is a sweet, gentle black‐and‐white cat who's blossoming in her foster home. She was rescued from outside a Walmart in a dangerous Chicago suburb after being found extremely thin and missing part of her tail. Despite her rough start, Viola is affectionate, calm, and grateful for every bit of kindness. She's gaining weight, enjoying cozy naps, and showing just how loving she truly is. She'll make a wonderful companion for someone ready to give her the safe, happy life she deserves.
We agreed to take her and she went into a foster home. Examined at the vet the stump left of her tail was infected. So the vet had to remove a bit more of the tail and clean the area. She is now healing in her foster home.

But what a sweet and grateful girl she is! We are still getting to know her and will update her bio as she settles in.
_________________________________________________________________________
Adoption Donation for Viola is $ 200.00

WANT TO MEET Viola

The first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the "Adopting a Pet" page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application.

Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Viola and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.org

Animal Education and Rescue's Adoption Policy
Meet our pets at http://www.aear.org/pets Before contacting us, please view our FAQs that will answer many of your questions. at www.aear.org/faqs/ We are a foster-home based rescue organization, and therefore, do not have a shelter facility so we ask that you visit us at a Meet and Greet Event or wait for your application to be approved and a meeting will be arranged. Unfortunately due to the high number of applications we receive for animals, it is not possible for us to arrange “private” meetings unless your application has been approved. Of course, when you meet the animal, if there isn’t a love connection you don’t have to adopt. If there is a particular pet you would like to see at a Meet and Greet event please contact us at info@aear.org the day before the event to see if that animal will be there. Not all the animals come to all the events. Some of our animals don't do well at events either. You can view all of our events at - https://www.aear.org/events
