Vinny & Chai

Vinny (male/buff coat) and Chai(female/orange coat) are a bonded pair; they are litter mates and have lived together their entire lives. They were adopted together as babies and surrendered back to Nine Lives after almost 7 years; they are now 9 years old and share a room at the shelter. Chai is sweet and friendly and loves attention and petting from people, but it may take some time for her to adjust in a new home. Although Vinny is gentle and peaceful, he is under-socialized; he does not accept petting from humans. He backs away and hides from people, but he does like Chai and other cats. The right person will be able to gain Vinny’s trust, and he will hopefully come out of his shell.<br/><br/>They should go to an experienced, patient cat person or family who will bond with them at their pace, and they will do best without other pets in the home.
