Vindu's Story

Vindu, nicknamed Vina by her foster mom, is a strong independent lady! She is fearless, and will size up strangers with no sign of shyness! We think that's because she is making sure they'll be good at her very favorite thing- pets! Vindu loves being pet, and she is also known as the queen of the slow blinks. She's also a comedian, and she will sit and talk to her toys for hours telling them her best material! We are pretty sure she's waiting for them to talk back to her. She also loves to play and gets the occasional case of the zoomies, and if there isn't a toy around to chase, that's ok! She'll settle for chasing her foster brother around until she's ready to relax. She likes her own space when she sleeps, and she'll curl up on a chair for a relaxing nap. Vindu would do best in a home with another kitty to run around with! Vindu was born 9/9/21.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Vindu, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you!
