Vespera's Story

I'm Vespera! I found my way to the WAAL office because there's an invisible-to-humans-sign that says "GOOD FOOD HERE." The peoples that work there are so nice; they'd never let an animal starve. Then they realized I am very friendly and they said I should find my very own family. The rest is history, as they say! I went to a foster home and then I ended up at Snick's. I really like peoples. I'll sit by you and let you pet me. If you stop, I'll remind you by gently tapping you with my paw. I quickly acclimated to having a human at my beck and call. I'd love to meet you and see if you meet my standard of petting requirements so fill out an application and make a reservation! ...

Wichita Animal Action League's Adoption Policy
Adoption fees vary. All animals are sterilized, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV tested (cats), microchipped, dewormed and have had monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. All animals are adopted to indoor-only homes. No declawing. Fill out an application at WAALrescue.org/adoptions to get matched with an animal and schedule a meeting. We would love to find you a new family member!
