Veronica

Meet Veronica — A Tortie Looking for Her Safe Place to Land

Veronica is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl, estimated to be around 3–4 years old, who deserves a home where she’ll never have to worry about where her next meal is coming from.

Veronica was found searching for something to eat in a dumpster. It was heartbreaking to see, but when help came, she was ready to accept it. She was easy to rescue, as if she knew someone was finally there to help her. She had a few scratches, but thankfully, she was otherwise in decent shape.

Veronica was already spayed when she was found, suggesting she may have once had a home of her own. We may never know her whole story, but we do know she deserves a much happier next chapter.

This sweet girl can be a little timid and nervous at first, so she’ll need a patient family willing to give her time to feel safe. But once she starts to trust you, you’ll discover her favorite thing: cuddles! Veronica loves snuggling up with her people and will happily purr away when she’s feeling comfortable. There’s something so special about watching a shy kitty learn that she’s safe and loved.

Veronica is still adjusting to other cats and doesn’t warm up to them right away. With slow, proper introductions and a family willing to be patient, she may be able to live with other feline friends. She would also be perfectly deserving of a home where she can be the center of someone’s attention.

Veronica’s vetting:
Spayed
Being brought up to date on vaccinations
Newly microchipped
Tested negative for FIV/FeLV

Veronica has already been through more than any kitty should have to experience. Now, we’re hoping to find her a home filled with kindness, patience, cozy naps, and all the cuddles she could ever want.

Could you be the person who shows Veronica that she’s finally home?

Apply to adopt Veronica and help give this sweet girl the fresh start she deserves!
