Hi, I’m Veronica<br/><br/>Veronica and her brother Jughead were the older kittens from the Ashton colony of 13. She is a beautiful cat that just wants to be loved. <br/><br/>She is still very shy and her foster has just started to be able to touch her briefly. She will rub on furniture when she sees her foster but will not allow pets or snuggles. <br/><br/>Veronica will need a patient adopter with another cat. She is very independent and curious. She likes to curl up with another cat and she prefers her food to be served to her away from the other cats. <br/><br/>She is tolerant of the dogs in her foster home and untested with children. It is recommended that she is adopted to a quieter home, with her own space and time to adapt.<br/><br/>As with the other members of the Ashton Colony, she is covered by a 6 months of medical care for possible FIP symptoms. <br/>She has been healthy and happy in her foster home but stress in transitions can cause possible flare ups of illness.<br/><br/>With the right home and family to help me, we know Veronica will shine!<br/><br/>Do you have time, patience and compassion to help her become her best kittyself ever?

Arnprior Stray Cat Division Rescue's Adoption Policy
1. Fill out an adoption application 2. The application is processed by a volunteer, references are contacted and a phone interview is conducted during a mutually convenient time. If the application does not meet the cats needs, we do not proceed with it. 3. If the application looks good and the references are check out, we set up a call or meeting between the foster and adopter. 4. If the meeting goes well and the adoption is approved, the adopter will fill out our adoption agreement. 5. Contract & payment are taken, pick up date for the cat is arranged and all documents provided. *You will only be contacted if your application is approved*
