Venus's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com
Venus is a beautiful young black cat with a heart just as lovely as her sleek coat. She may still be young herself, but she’s already proven what an incredible mama she is—raising her three kittens with so much love and care. Now that her babies are growing up, it’s been so fun to watch her step into a new role... their playmate! She loves chasing, wrestling, and zooming around with them like one of the crew.

Venus is the perfect mix of independent and affectionate. She enjoys being near her people but isn’t overly demanding—she’s just as happy lounging in a sunny window or relaxing on her cat tree as she is hanging out nearby. She’s got a calm, easy presence with a playful side that comes out when she feels comfortable.

She would do best in a home without dogs and with older kids who understand how to give her space as she settles in. Because she’s still young and playful, Venus would absolutely thrive being adopted with one of her kittens or into a home with another young, energetic cat. She may need a little time to warm up to a new feline friend, but once she does, she’ll be ready to play!

Venus doesn’t always shine in the busy, stressful environment of adoption events—being in a cage just isn’t her thing—but in a home setting, her true personality really comes to life.

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion with a playful spirit, Venus might just be your perfect matchPlease contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
