Venus's Story

Hi, my name is Venus and I'm about 18 months old. I was brought to Bond County Humane Society by a family that took pity on me. I originally came to the family as a stray and was pregnant. I delivered my two kittens in their bathroom. They brought me to BCHS when the kittens were about 5 weeks old. I am a beautiful orange female. I am small to medium size and a little timid around other cats. I moved from the shelter to a foster home and came out of my shell. I hid for the first couple days but then I ran out to greet the family. I let them pick me up and hold me and I purred all the time. I am still a little skittish with loud sounds and new people, but I'm never aggressive. My foster mom says I have a very sweet spirit. I am good at self play. I am quiet and low maintenance. I am now living back at the shelter and getting used to the other cats there. I love being petted by the volunteers now. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is sponsored. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org . Email the completed profile to the address provided. A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.
