Venora's Story

🐾💖 Venora Update! Sweet Venora is becoming one of our longer stay cats, so a few weeks ago, she was upgraded to a deluxe suite--and she has been absolutely loving it! The extra space to stretch out and move around has helped her blossom into a calmer, more welcoming kitty. While she'll occasionally surprise you with a playful moment, Venora has truly settled into her favorite role: professional lap cat. 😻
She adores anyone who will come sit in her room and offer their lap--and once you do, don't be surprised if she steals your heart. Venora is a stunning dilute tortie, with beautiful markings and piercing eyes that seem to look right into your soul. 💫

Seeing how far she's come has been incredibly rewarding. When Venora first arrived, she was scared and unsure, but thanks to the patience and dedication of our staff and volunteers, she's learned how to trust again. 💕 Every gentle interaction has helped her feel safe and loved.

She is 5 years old and is believed to be cat friendly as well! She has pica which is why she is not allowed to be in our free roam room with the other kitties. Pica is an eating disorder characterized by the persistent, compulsive consumption of non-food items. Due to this, her owner will need to be cautious of small items laying around that she could consume.

If you're looking for a quiet companion who just wants your time, your warmth, and your lap--please stop by and meet Venora. This sweet girl is ready for her forever person. 🐱💗
Check out the comments to see some videos of this sweet girl!!

📍 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA
📝 Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049
📧 adoptions@animalprotectors.net
📞 (724) 339-7388
