If you are interested in this kitty, Please fill out an application on our website at

https://ffar.wufoo.com/forms/application-to-adopt-a-cat-from-ffar-plano-tx/

Responding to Petfinder is not a completion of an application. We do not adopt out of a local adoption area. Inquiries that ask questions listed in this bio may not be answered - the foster is a volunteer and has a heavy work schedule (to pay the bills for fostering) and has tried to answer the common questions that are received so that information is available to adopters. Pictures of this kitty were current as of 2/1/26

Vending has been through a lot in his short life. Vending was initially found stuffed inside a vending machine. Yes you read that correctly, someone shoved him inside a vending machine. He was of course terrified and when his rescuers went to get him out he scratched them ( no one of course had ever done his nails). That led to a ten day quarantine where no one was allowed to pet or love on him despite his terrifying ordeal. Once he finished quarantine the shelter was full, he was still scared and he was set for euthenasia. His foster mom rescued him knowing that all he needed was time and love. Vending has blossomed in foster care. He's still not very brave in any new situation but once he settles in he makes himself right at home. He loves attention and rub all over his foster family to get it. He's also quite happy to sit in their laps while they watch tv or work on the computer. Vending has a nice play level and enjoys the feather toy on a stick. He's very close with his foster sister and must go to a home with another cat to be his companion. He has some dog exposure and would be fine if there is also a dog in the household. He is good with his kitty box.

Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. To fill out an application on line, just go to www.furryfriendsanimalrescue.org and click on the Adoption Application link. All our cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. We do ask for a $180 adoption donation.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.FurryFriendsAnimalRescue.org and look under HOW TO HELP. Furry Friends provides veterinary care - you provide the home and love!.

We also need Volunteers for Adoption Events at Petsmart and Cage Cleaners.

Furry Friends Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
We are a new group and we will be rescuing more as we recruit new foster homes - so check back often! We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis - it is our goal to find the right home for the cat or dog as well as ensuring that the cat or dog is the right match for its new family. A win/win situation. We do home visits for our dogs. Our Adoption Fees are $180 for cats and $250 for dogs. All our cats and dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - this includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids testing, heartworm tests, deworming, spay or neuter, microchips and other medical treatment as required. You can fill out an Adoption Application online on our website. All our cats and dogs live in foster homes so we don't have a physical shelter for you to visit. If you are interested in meeting any of our cats or dogs, just send us a an email or fill out an Adoption Application on our website.
