Velvet's Story

Hi, I'm Velvet! When I first arrived at Furkids East Cobb I had spent a long time out on my own in the wild. I was terrified of people for many months, and now I still only trust a select few number of people. I am a very sweet girl that will seek attention from the few I trust, but my affection takes time to build. I hope to go to a home of very experienced pet owners in a quiet house, so that my loving personality can blossom.

Furkids houses over 1.000 rescue cats and dogs in our rescue program. Once you have located the animal you would like to adopt (online or through a PetSmart/Petco adoption center), the first step towards adopting is to fill out an adoption application at www.furkids.org. Our volunteers work hard to respond to all adoption applications or inquiries within 72 hours.
