Velvet's Story

Saved from being left in a car engine by my mother, I’m enjoying life in the Rescue. We were on the Navy exchange parking lot and Mom didn’t know what to do since there were coyotes everywhere. So she left us in an engine and a quick thinking employee called the rescue and saved our lives.<br/><br/>I’m sweet and playful and very good with other cats and dogs. Community Cat Foundation's Adoption Policy

Once a potential adopter sees a post on an available a cat or kitten, we do an initial phone call, send them an application, schedule a phone or in person interview. If approved, they receive adoption counseling, They can visit the kitten of their choice, and if all works out, they take their cat home. We keep in touch with our adopters and offer microchip registration in case a cat is ever lost.
