Velma's Story

Miss Velma came in as a baby with her 4 sisters and her mother. She can be shy around people. But with her sisters or her friends she’s just as rowdy as a normal cat. She’s the smart and protective one. Her four other sisters were Elizabeth, Daphne, Jane, and Josephine. Her mother was named Miss Charlotte. They were all debutants. She is all that’s left of the litter. Velma was born sometime in late March/early April 2024.

Velma has always been the more temperamental one of her litter. She is slow to adjusting and needs a lot of time in order to do that. When she’s overwhelmed she tends to get hissy and anxious. But the moment she grows comfortable she becomes more chill. When she’s confident she will be playful and will lounge around. She’s cat friendly to an extent, though it may take her a while to warm up to strangers. She’s been around certain small dogs with no issues before, but again she takes time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. Big dogs she is fearful of.

Silly fun fact about Velma: she gets the zoomies quite often.
