Velcro and Turbo's Story
These two boys started off in very different places, stranded all alone on the streets of New Orleans, but were lucky enough to be rescued around the same time. Placed into foster care together, they bonded quickly and are now inseparable!

Velcro was rescued from a drainage pipe at an abandoned naval base. His cries for help alerted someone nearby that he was there. After nearly three hours of trying to get him out of the pipe, we lowered a small strip of carpet down the pipe and he managed to cling to it and climb up it like he had Velcro paws! He was the tiniest kitten, barely old enough to eat on his own. Having been in the company of humans from such an early age, he has no fear of people. He sees everyone as a friend, and thinks everyone should love him and play with him all day long!

Turbo was rescued when he was found hiding in a car engine. He was terrified, and didn't realize we were there to help. He kept running and jumping from car engine to car engine, almost like he was turbo charged! After multiple attempts, we finally were able to get our hands on him! He was initially very frightened of humans, but once he met Velcro and saw how calm and relaxed he was around people, Turbo realized how great people actually were to have around!

Both boys have thrived together in foster care. They love to play together, sleep together, and get into all kinds of kitten mischief together! They look nearly identical, with the most adorable spotted leopard bellies! They play hard, but crash even harder- after playtime and zoomies, they come find their human and snuggle in close to complete for pets. Loud purrs and biscuits are your reward for loving them!

They have been around other cats, but haven't been around young children or dogs. Velcro would do well with either, but Turbo would need a little more patience, so older children or calm dogs would be preferable.

Both boys are neutered, triple tested negative, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
