Vel's Story

Vel is an adorable and sweet tux kitty. She isn't super comfy with humans yet, but loves to play and explore all the nooks and crannies she can find. We do think she may learn to love humans but there is a chance she'll always be a more look and don't touch cat. Socializing a shy cat is such a rewarding experience, and with patience (and churu) we think she will do just fine. She also adores other cats, and would make a great friend for any feline!<br/><br/>This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.

Thanks for your interest in adopting! During these difficult times adoptions are moving very fast and we are working to respond as quickly as possible to get our cats into their forever homes. There is a chance that the cat you are inquiring about may already have an application, but we will do our best to find you the perfect fit. At this time we can only process adoptions to Brooklyn and nearby areas of Queens and Manhattan at this time. Applications from other boroughs and states will not be processed. All of our adoptions are happening as foster to adopt: you'll begin by fostering with the intention to adopt if all works out. As always, we DO NOT adopt out single kittens and any applications for a single kitten will be ignored.
