Veda's Story

Veda's journey hasn't been easy, but her spirit shines bright! Found as a scared, skinny teenage kitten, she quickly blossomed into a healthy, affectionate girl who loves the comfort of indoor life.

Veda is an FIP survivor-strong, resilient, and now thriving. She has a slight vision impairment and occasional eye discharge, but that doesn't slow her down one bit! She loves to cuddle, chat softly with her humans, and play with her feline friends. Veda is both independent and loving-the perfect mix of playful companion and gentle snuggle buddy. She uses her litter box to pee but prefers to poop on a puppy pad next to it (a tidy little quirk!).

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a rare mutation of the common feline coronavirus (FCoV). FIP is not contagious in its mutated form, and treated cats like Veda are considered cured and can live normal, happy lives. If you're looking for a sweet, brave survivor with a heart full of love, Veda is your girl.

Veda is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, routinely treated for fleas and worms, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. Her estimated DOB is 10/15/2023.

All cats/kittens come with 30 days of free post-adoption support to Petcademy's team to help settle your new furbaby into your home.

Apply to adopt: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AAA/Cat

Alleycats & Aristocats's Adoption Policy
We screen applicants by checking at least 2 personal references and vet records/references. Application is provided via online Jotform. Renters will require authorization to make sure pets are permitted. Please allow our volunteers up to 48 hours to process all applications. To ensure healthy development, we do not adopt out single kittens under 4 months old unless there is already another cat in the home. Kittens learn essential behaviors from other felines, and early socialization reduces the risk of future behavioral issues.
