Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/><br/>VANESSA FISK has had a rough life. We believe someone dumped her in our area. She found herself to our outdoor colony. We found her in our front lawn, attacked by some kind of animal. We rushed her to the vet. She has a huge scar under her fur. You cant see it at all. <br/><br/><br/>Meet VANESSA FISK, a beautiful DSH Calico mix from Hemet, California, whose essence is gentle resilience wrapped in a striking coat of white, orange, and black. VANESSA FISK is a large, shy, and timid cat who has faced some challenges in her past, but she’s ready to find a loving and patient family who can help her continue to heal and blossom.<br/><br/><br/>VANESSA FISK is an independent soul who finds comfort in the quiet companionship of other cats. Having lived peacefully with fellow felines, she would thrive in a home with another calm and understanding cat to keep her company. Her experiences have made her a bit wary of new environments, so she’ll need a pet parent who can offer her the gentle encouragement she needs to feel safe and secure.<br/><br/><br/>While Vanessa hasn’t had much experience with dogs or young children, her timid nature suggests that she would do best in a calm, dog-free home where she can gradually build her confidence at her own pace. She has never been around dogs or young children. We don't think she will do well with dogs. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET and GREETS. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
