Vanessa

Vanessa, known as Vanny by her friends, is a sweet lady that's pretty simple - she just wants to be loved and love in return! This pretty girl was living as a stray in DC and made many friends in her neighborhood that cared for her. She was always rubbing against their legs to let them know she was a nice girl, but she was somewhat timid and no one was committing to bringing her inside. It turned out that Vanny was always on the move because she was a busy mama that had kittens to get back to and we were so very happy to get her and all of her babies safely inside to foster homes. Her kittens have found loving homes and now it's her turn to have the happily ever after that she deserves! Vanny is a big fan of looking out the window, lounging in a sunny spot, but very glad she isn't living outside any longer! She adores temptations and the nightly ritutal of laser pointer time, zooming up the cat tree to reach the top and get that pesky red light. Vanny is social with other cats in her foster home but she's also pretty independent and wouldn't mind being the only pet in the household. We aren't sure of her background beyond the time she was rescued as a stray last fall, but we do know she's a lovely girl that is very happy inside only.
