Vanessa (Bonded to Taissa)'s Story

Vanessa and Taissa were rescued together from a hoarding situation in Yakima from the middle of an open field where their house previously stood. When first rescued, Vanessa was shy and a bit spicy, so the original plan was to get her spayed and released. However, she came around quickly! In a new environment, she will be very shy and protective, and may greet you with her cute hiss, but give her a week or so, and she will be your loving companion cat. She LOVES to play, and you will gain her trust quickly if you spend time playing with her followed by a Churu treat. She is very affectionate and loves to be pet and held and will come to you for attention. When she is tired, she even likes to lie on your lap. She also likes to follow you around keeping just out of reach. When she is held in your arms, she’ll sniff your nose and give you a nose boop. They will do best in a quiet home setting where they can come out of their shell at their own pace.

Taissa and Vanessa are bonded and need to be adopted together.

If you are interested in making Taissa and Vanessa a part of your family please go to our website https://felinefriendsofsammamish.org to fill out our application.
