Say hello to Vanderbilt (AKA Vandy), a very sweet 1 year old Domestic Short Haired Tortoiseshell cat. This petite, beautiful lady is a little shy of new people at first, but quickly warms up once she gets loving. Particularly fond of head and booty scritches, she lifts her tail up and shows affection. She is mostly black but has the cutest tan spot on her neck along with a typical tortie coloring. Vanderbilt is a big fan of wet food, cat trees, and lounging in the sun. She would absolutely be a big part of hanging on the couch and cheering on your favorite team no matter the season! Her foster mom thinks she will be good with other cats and her laid back demeanor indicates she would be good with cat-savvy dogs. If Vanderbilt seems like the right fit for you and your family, apply today!

* $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.

Interested in adopting? Thank you for thinking adoption first!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
