Valvoline

Valvoline is one of two adorable brothers we rescued from a very large colony of cats living at an auto body shop. These two baby boys were scrounging for food among all the adult cats, fighting for any scraps that were left over. Severely underweight and covered in motor oil, we knew we couldn't leave them there. While we would love for him to be adopted with his brother Penzoil, we are willing to adopt him out solo if there is already another friendly feline in the home.<br/><br/>Valvoline is a little shy and reserved, but he is very accepting of human affection. He leans into you for pets and melts into your arms and purrs when being held. Coming from such a bad background, he is just learning how much fun it is to play with toys! He is also very food motivated and will do just about anything for a treat! He needs someone to show him that it's okay to play now, and that he will never have to worry about going hungry again.<br/><br/>Valvoline has been around other cats, but has not been around dogs or children. Given his shy nature, he would probably do best in a quiet household with someone willing to be patient as he learns what it means to be a carefree kitten. <br/><br/>Valvoline has been neutered, vaccinated, triple tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
