Valerie has blossomed in her foster home. She's about 10 pounds in a cute, compact body. She loves to be petted and would blossom if given the chance of finding a home of her own. Valerie would be fine as an only cat, in fact that would be ideal for her. She gets stressed out if other cats bully her and sadly that has happened in her foster home. Valerie will be fine living with a calm dog who won't chase her. She is also fine with calmer children. Valerie would love an opportunity to sit next to you and watch a movie. She just wants a chance to be loved and get love in return.

Valerie and her sister, Veronica were surrendered by their owner on 3/17/2023. These girls were scared to death, not understanding what was happening. Veronica and Valerie spent some time at PetSmart and their personalities blossomed. Sadly, no one chose them, likely because they are black cats. They are now back in their foster home but still hoping someone will open up their hearts and home to them. They do not need to be adopted together. Valerie desperately wants attention, and is hoping someone will give her a chance. She lives peacefully with the other cats and dogs, but ideally she will be adopted into a quieter home where she can open up and not be concerned with all that is going on around her. Will you please open up your heart and home to Valerie? These girls would love to find a place to call home!
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80
If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
