Valentino 's Story

Meet Valentino!
Valentino is a little heart-stealer with the softest purrs and the biggest love for playtime.
He was the only kitten who didn’t find his family at our adoption event this last weekend, but trust us—his person just hasn’t met him yet.
We brought Valentino in last month from Washoe County Animal Services when he was very sick and underweight. Thanks to lots of TLC, a month of antibiotics, and two rounds of antivirals, he’s made an amazing turnaround and is now feeling great. Because he was sick for such a long time when he was tiny and vulnerable, Valentino may have the occasional upper respiratory flare-up as he grows, which can look like a stuffy nose and sneezing fits.
When that happens, he may need a short course of antiviral medication to help him feel his best.
The good news? It’s not contagious to other cats and lives happily with furry friends.
Valentino can be a little shy at first with new people, but with a calm, patient home, he blossoms into the sweetest cuddle buddy.
Once he feels safe, his affectionate side really shines and he’s not afraid to show you.
Personality-wise, Valentino is the best of both worlds: sweet and snuggly with a touch of independence.
His absolute favorite thing in the world is a wand toy—wave it around and he’s instantly in play mode!
After he gets his zoomies out, he’s happy to curl up in your lap for cuddles.
Valentino would love a home with another young cat or kitten to be his playmate (this is a must for him!), and he’s also great with dogs. He’s a social little guy who thrives with furry companionship and gentle human love.
If you’re looking for a playful, loving kitten who just needs a little patience to show you how special he is, Valentino might be your perfect match. 🐾💙
