Meet Valentino
If you are ready for romance, you need to meet Valentino. He was found outside by a resident who fed him daily and tried to find his owner. She brought him inside where he was a perfect gentleman but her own cat would not tolerate another cat in her home. Valentino has seen the vet and is now ready for adoption. He is approximately 5 years old and he gets along with other gentle cats. His favorite thing is when our volunteers sit next to him and tell him how handsome he is while also feeding him delicious treats.
Valentino is FIV positive. FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives if kept indoors, fed a high-quality diet and brought to the vet for regular check ups. Please give this guy a chance to have a loving home. FIV is spread to other cats only through bite wounds and can not be spread to people or dogs. You can learn more about it on the Cornell Vet School's website: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/health_information/brochure_fiv.cfm
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption.
The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering.
