Valentina's Story
Meet Valentina

Some kittens are rescued. Others are simply meant to be.

Valentina came into my care when she was just two days old; cold, fragile, and fighting for her life. She was too weak to nurse from a bottle, so she was carefully tube-fed while spending her first days nestled safely in an incubator. There were moments during that first week when I wasn't sure she would make it, but this tiny girl had a quiet determination that whispered, "I'm staying."

Today, she's a beautiful reminder of just how powerful love can be.

Valentina has never known anything but warmth, kindness, and gentle hands. She is a very sensitive little soul with the sweetest heart. She's playful, curious, and always on the move, chasing toys, exploring every corner, and turning just about anything into a game. She would absolutely love having another young kitty to romp around with and would thrive with a feline companion.

When she's finally worn herself out, the purring begins. Valentina is a tiny purr machine! While she isn't crazy about being carried around, if you give her a quick "uppie" onto the couch or bed, she'll happily melt into your side and snuggle for as long as you'll let her. Her happiest moments are spent curled up close, feeling safe with her people.

At just 7 weeks old, she's almost reached the weight needed for her spay surgery and will soon be ready to find the family she's been waiting for.

To help ensure the perfect match, we offer a Foster-to-Adopt program. It gives both your family and Valentina the opportunity to make sure it's a forever love.

Because we love her so much, Valentina is looking for an indoor-only home where she'll be protected from traffic, predators, disease, and the many dangers outdoor cats face. We want this little miracle to enjoy the long, happy life she fought so hard for.

If you're looking for a kitten with a survivor's heart, a playful spirit, an endless purr, and the sweetest, most sensitive little soul, Valentina may just be the missing piece of your family. She has already learned how to fight for life—now she's ready to learn what forever feels like.

****PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ****QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE ADOPTING ANY PET: Adoption should NEVER be an impulsive decision, it must be thought out carefully. Adopting a pet is a 15 to 20+ year commitment. Can we afford to care properly for our new family member? If we're renting do they allow pets here? Is there a pet deposit? Can we afford the pet deposit? What if we get sick, what if our pet becomes ill and has to see a veterinarian? Pets requires routine check-ups, annual vaccines, quality food, many necessities and toys, can we afford this? These are all questions a responsible pet owner must ask themselves. If you can make this type of commitment, please take a moment to email us for an application: friendsofthetas@gmail.com

**ALL KITTENS/CATS ADOPTED TO INDOOR-ONLY HOMES!
