He will require a specific type of home; one with other friendly, playful cats and a family who has feline experience. <br/><br/>He came into foster care as a semi feral kitten from a nearby farm. Born outside but fending for himself, Valen was a cast off, a loner among his colony. Though elusive, a very caring barn owner and a foster with Cat Coalition were able to safely get him into care. <br/><br/>For months, Valen would not allow human touch, but was very curious. Slowly, with love, patience and time, he began to trust and allowed pets and grooming. He even started to enjoy playtime and the company of humans! He now joyfully lives in his foster home among 5 other cats and 2 humans as if was he's been here the whole time. <3 <br/><br/>We are so proud of Valen for his bravery, perseverance and trust. He has grown to become a very playful, silly guy with so much love to give. He has a wonderful purr, and large paws that tell us he will grow up to be big and strong. <br/><br/>He LOVES to rub against your ankles and flop at your feet for pets. But don't touch the belly: it really is a trap! He is very energetic while playing with the other cats; wrestling and chasing and playing with his track ball toy are his favorites. <br/><br/>He has started to find his voice, but is still nervous about being held.
