Meet Vader! Don't let the name fool you-this little guy has already joined the light side! At around 10 weeks old, Vader is a sweet, quiet boy and all it it takes is a few gentle pets to activate his purr motor-and trust us, the force is strong with this one!<br/><br/>Vader is currently in a foster home with young children, proving that even this former "Dark Lord" has a heart of gold. He's gentle, affectionate, and would love a family to call his own. His foster mom says he loves to cuddle!<br/><br/>If you've been searching the galaxy for your new best friend, your mission may be complete. May the force be with you...and hopefully, with Vader in his forever home!<br/><br/>Vader is neutered, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines. He is FIV/FeLV/heartworm tested and negative for all. He has had a fecal parasite screen and did test positive for a few different parasites-some which can transfer to other pets and to humans if his feces are orally ingested. We recommend keeping his litter box clean and separate from other animals in the home, cleaning it frequently, and washing hands well after cleaning the litter box until it is known that his parasites are gone. He is currently on dewormer.<br/><br/>The $125.00 adoption fee (<br/>payable by cash or check only<br/>) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing.<br/><br/>Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
