Ursula's Story
Hello, my furiends! Our darling Ursula has been with us for...yikes...too long - she came to Scruffy with her mama and siblings just over 600 days ago! And while her mama and a few of her siblings were adopted, Ursula, her brother Flounder, and her sister Ariel are still available. She is a grey and white beauty, 2 years old. A little timid, but a whole lot adorable...I recently had a chat with Ursula about her thoughts on finding her furever family, and this is what she meowed.

Scruffy Paws Volunteer: Good morning Ursula! I'm sorry you are still waiting for your family, you poor unfortunate soul!

Ursula: I do enjoy being here with these nice humans, but it will be wonderful to find my furever family. I don't mind the other cats, but I also like being on my own. I can have the hammock all to myself.

SPV: When you first came to Scruffy you were very shy...how are you feeling now?

Ursula: I've mended all my ways—repented, seen the light, and made a switch...Especially that laser light...but they dote, swoon, and fawn on a lady who's withdrawn. I mean, I'm still shy, but I enjoy attention—just on my terms.

SPV: I noticed you were lounging in your hammock; what other interests do you have?

Ursula: I'm a very busy cat, and I don't have all day—but tunnels, laser beams, and anything feathery really keep me busy.

SPV: How do you feel about young kids and dogs?

Ursula: Life is full of tough choices, isn't it? But if I had the choice to be your only fur friend, I'd prefer that. Kids are too much noise and activity for me.

SPV: Well, Ursula. You are very sweet and I can tell you just need a cozy hammock, a window with a view, and a family who understands you just need love, patience..and toys with feathers...Maybe with a little magic, we can find this girl a home!

Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change.
