He has grown up with his family since being rescued, and is the sweetest and most affectionate of kittens.<br/><br/>Being the least shy and most friendly of all his siblings, Uno loves nothing more than to make new friends so he can be their cuddle buddy. Uno is openly loving and affectionate, always looking to stay cozy and close, forming bonds quickly and easily with people as well as his littermates. If you're sitting still for more than 5 minutes, he’ll somehow find his way onto your lap; because why should it be empty when he is right there to fill it?! He is also quite comfortable climbing into bed to sleep with you once he decides you are his person. <br/><br/>Uno has a favourite toy (a plush snowman) which he guards but not aggressively, never biting or swatting but will growl and run away with it in his mouth. It’s yet another one of his many quirky and lovable traits that makes him numero Uno in anyone’s books!<br/><br/>Uno is a truly loving soul who would flourish in an environment with folks who are home a lot so he can freely occupy their laps at will. He would love to have Ruth or Dave with him if at all possible, but with his friendly outlooks and eagerness to engage, Uno could easily charm a young, social and playful cat to be his forever bestie. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.<br/><br/>All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
