Unity, Female, 6 years old<br/><br/>Unity is very stressed and timid in the shelter environment. She’s a TOTALLY different cat once in a home. She was recently adopted but returned due to allergies. The adopter had only good things to say about her! Please give Unity a chance back in a home. Many cats, especially adult cats, do not do well in a shelter, confined in a small space. <br/><br/>Beautiful Unity!<br/>Such a quiet, affectionate soul looking for a calm home to call her own. This 6 year old precious soul was brought to FAPL as a stray, and in need of eye surgery. She is ever so grateful to all those who saved her!! A quiet home without young children would be best, as well as no other animals, as she just wants a peaceful environment. She so deserves this!! “Unity loves to soak up head scratchies. Loud purrs the whole time. Literally the SWEETEST girl. Is absolutely stunning, quiet mostly but likes to talk to sometimes.” She’s a great cat!!<br/><br/>All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Cats over 3 months of age are microchipped and FIV/feline leukemia tested. <br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance and will be filled out at the shelter upon adoption. We want you to meet the purrrrfect feline for you and your lifestyle! FAPL is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6:30pm. Sundays 12:00-3:00pm. Closed to the public Mondays. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>Upon adoption, all cats must go home in a carrier. You may bring one of your own or purchase one from FAPL for a small fee. Please remember, the carrier cannot be opened until safely within your home.
