Underwood's Story
Meet Underwood, an incredibly social and easy-going 5-month-old boy who is ready to find his forever teammates! Underwood is the ultimate "best of both worlds" kitten: he is high-energy and active when it's playtime, but a dedicated lap cat the moment he's ready for a break. He lives to snuggle and is always in the middle of a wrestling match or a nap pile with his siblings. At this age, we strongly advocate for kittens to be adopted in pairs. Growing up with a "kitty buddy" provides essential mental stimulation and exercise that humans simply can't replicate. A companion helps a kitten learn vital social boundaries--like how to play gently--and prevents boredom-related mischief. Because Underwood thrives on interaction, he would do best in a home with a friendly and active resident cat or adopted with one of his siblings. If he is to be your only cat, we require a household where someone is home most of the time to ensure he gets the attention and development he needs to grow into a well-adjusted adult. Underwood is a friendly guy who could adapt well to many homes. To ensure his safety and comfort, any children in the home should be age 5 or older and understand how to be gentle with a growing kitten. He could also likely live with a cat-friendly dog, provided they are given a slow, patient introduction. If you're looking for a bold, affectionate, and playful companion, Underwood is the perfect match! His adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
