Uncle Lee's Story
Lee (aka Uncle Lee) is a beautiful, shiny, black cat with a little white crescent of fur on his chest. He is estimated to be 2 years old. He was rescued from living outdoors accompanied by two male kittens, both of whom were recently adopted. He bonded with these kittens and looked after them outside; that's why we call him Uncle Lee. He has been in foster care for a while and is becoming more of a house cat now. He has come a long way from being frightened and insecure to becoming friendly and playful. He's even learning to play and he likes rolling a ball back and forth with his foster parents. This sweet boy is still a bit shy and will need a patient person who will reassure him that he is safe and loved. When Lee's foster parents enter his room, he greets them with head bunts and little dips to show he is ready for some gentle pets. He truly wants to trust and believe in his people! It would be wonderful if Lee could be nurtured the way he nurtured the kittens he cared for outdoors. Lee enjoys being with other cats, too, and he would make an ideal companion for a kitty who needs a friend. A home with a feline buddy will help him adjust to his new forever home. He deserves a wonderful life in which he can thrive and feel more confident and loved every day. If you want to meet Lee, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
