Twisty's Story
Meet Twisty 💙

Twisty has been with our rescue since the very beginning — literally since he was born — and he has grown into an incredibly sweet, loving, and charming cat. He is kind-hearted, gentle, and has one very important passion in life: food. Twisty is a huge foodie and will never miss a meal. If there’s food involved, he’ll be right there.

When Twisty was about two weeks old, he experienced a brain injury that resulted in a slight head tilt (or twist) to the left. While we can’t say exactly what caused it, it was most likely accidental trauma, such as a fall. At the time, he was treated conservatively with antibiotics, and over time he has improved significantly. His head has straightened quite a bit as he’s grown, though a mild tilt does remain.

That little twist? We think it just adds to his character — and makes him even more adorable.

Most importantly, Twisty has no functional limitations at all. He:

Uses the litter box normally

Eats and drinks normally

Plays, scratches, and lounges like any other cat

Uses scratching posts appropriately

He truly does all the normal cat things without issue.

From a medical standpoint, Twisty is well cared for:

FIV/FeLV tested negative

Fecal test negative

First round of vaccines completed

Second round of vaccines scheduled for 1/18/2026

Will be microchipped prior to adoption

Will go home neutered or with a neuter voucher for TCAP

Twisty would do wonderfully in a home with children, other cats, and other animals. He is social, easygoing, and incredibly loving — the kind of cat who fits right in and makes himself at home.

If you’re looking for a cat with a big heart, a love for snacks, and just a tiny twist of extra charm, Twisty may be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾
