Twinkie's Story

Meet Twinkie (Smudge) & Twinkle Twinkie (Smudge) and Twinkle are two very special sisters with a beautiful rescue story. These babies were surrendered to a shelter that was unable to provide the around-the-clock care required for underage neonates. Thankfully, Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue stepped in, and they were placed with a trusted, highly experienced foster who gave them everything they needed to survive - and thrive. From bottle feedings to constant cuddles, their foster devoted endless time, love, and attention to these girls. Because of that dedication, Twinkie and Twinkle have grown into exceptionally affectionate, confident, and people-loving kittens. They are now healthy, happy, and ready to find their forever home. Twinkie (Smudge) Twinkie is truly a one-of-a-kind beauty. She's a rare female orange tabby, though we like to joke that she may have been trying to be a tortoiseshell but ran out of ink - leaving her with the most adorable little black smudges sprinkled in the cutest places. No two markings are quite like hers. Beyond her unique looks, Twinkie is an absolute sweetheart. She's gentle, affectionate, and has a soft, darling personality that melts hearts instantly. She loves being close to her people, enjoys being held, and happily soaks up attention. Twinkie has a calm, loving presence and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a tender, affectionate kitten. Twinkle Twinkle is a stunning tuxedo girl with a sweet face and a charming white stripe that perfectly matches her personality. She's a bit more outgoing than her sister and has no problem letting you know she wants attention. Twinkle will happily crawl right into your lap, purring away, just to be close to you. She's confident, curious, and affectionate, with a playful spark that keeps things fun. Twinkle loves interacting with people and thrives on companionship, making her an excellent choice for a home that wants an engaged, loving kitten who enjoys being part of everyday life. We have dozens of cats and kittens available! All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.

Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in one of our precious foster kittens. We are a foster based rescue. Our kittens are raised in loving foster homes, so they are well socialized, love people and have good potty habits until they are adopted. Kittens may be visited by appointment only. Once you have made your decision to adopt, click on the link to our adoption application and include the name of the kitten you are interested in adopting. Once we receive and review your application, we will contact you by email with the status of your application and desired kitten. We try to respond within 48 hours. Application approval means you may contact us to schedule a kitten visit. We still need to meet with you in person to determine if you and your desired kitten are a good match. We receive many applications and we do our best help you get the kitten you desire. All of our available kittens are adoptable at Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. Our address is 1092 S Ponce De Leon Blvd.
