Twinkie's Story

Twinkie, America’s classic dessert. Timeless, elegant, decadent- a cultural icon, a beloved treat. There is little in means of comparison, and why would you even try?

There is no creature more deserving of the Twinkie name- just look at her. Purrfection. The golden eyes, her champagne coat silken to the touch, her tiny, exquisite pink nose, the delicate frame- she is faultless. And let’s not stop on looks, because this girl has it all.

Twinkie is a fan of most humans and seems to prefer the company of her more chill sheltermates, but has the uncanny ability to mesh with anyone- though a lot of the time her dexterous affability is not returned. Twinkie loves a good time (napping in a sundrenched window, nestling on a nearby pile of laundry), but loves good food (pretty much any canned cat food) more. When those pull tabs go poppin’, Twinkie comes a knocking (loudly vocalizing and crowding your food prep space) - because this girl loooovesss to eat (or really graze from countless bowls)! Sometimes Twinkie fails to pace herself when scarfing down food, and thus regurgitates said food (always fun!), so just be sure to keep an eye on her and keep portions smaller for mealtime.

Though Twinkie is a senior and looks like she could be blown over by one rouge breath- don’t be fooled, she’s a hardy little thing and boy does she get around! Twinkie surprises us every day with more and more things to admire about her.

Twinkie is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccines, and has been Heartworm, FeL-V, + FiV tested. Though sweet Twinkie is a senior and has a lot of the common senior cat trademarks: questionable breath, plaque build-up on teeth, a little muscle loss in her hind legs, her bloodwork counts came back impeccable
