Twenty-Twenty-Six's Story

Hi, my name is Twenty-Twenty-Six!

Yeah, you read that right. I was the first shelter intake of 2026 at another facility in Maryland. I came to Centerville Pet Rescue as part of a shelter transfer and am adjusting to my new life here.

I'm a friendly guy with lots of love to give. I am known to be great with other cats and I am almost certain I could adjust to life with a calm dog -- kids too!

I am FIV+ but, don't let that scare you. It's really no big deal and I don't require any lifelong medication. FIV just means my immune system is a little more compromised than my negative counterparts so, if I get a cold - I may require a little more medication management to overcome it! And because I love other cats so much, I can be adopted into a home with cats who are negative for the virus.
