Meet handsome, Tuxy!! This black and white tuxedo coated boy is sweet and loving kitty who was abandoned, literally left out by his family when they moved away. After a while, it was clear that no one was returning for him. He'd sit by the fence looking at moving trucks come and go, but no one coming for him. Fortunately, he made some friends with a family of semi-feral cats across the street that are maintained by a rescue volunteer so he didn't starve to death. But an outdoor cat fending for himself he was not, so the volunteer scooped him up and took him away with her to foster. Tuxy is about 5+ years old, was born in spring of 2016 so another neighbor said who was familiar with him and his family. He had already been neutered, he's been tested again and up to date on vaccinations, dewormed and treated for fleas properly. He's happy to be safe in a foster care, likes to hang out on the sofa with you and share some crackers and cheese, or some chips with you. Treats are always good too. Tuxy would love to be adopted in a nice loving home, adult family and have all your attentions, be patient with him while he gets to know his new home and people. A nice home too with perhaps a nice back patio, even screened in would be nice to enjoy some fresh air and do some bird and squirrel watching. Another friendly kitty would be ok.
