TUXY's Story

MEET TUXY!! Sadly, we got a call from someone that we provide cat food to for her neighborhood cat strays. Tuxy is 2 year old and had been fending for himself! She told us that Tuxy had not eaten for over a week and the lady had just realized that there was a metal hook in his muzzle and his face was swollen and that he was getting beat up by the other tom cats in the neighborhood. We had Tuxy rushed to our vet to get surgery to remove the hook (and neuter him). Tuxy is now fully vetted and ready for his new home!! Because someone stepped up to foster him, we were able to get him off the streets! Tuxy is super affectionate and friendly and good with other cats. Want to meet this sweet boy? We schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters. Please email us for an application. We are a foster based program and we all work full time and are all volunteers. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions due to required home/fence checks and we prefer to do proper dog introductions with other dogs to make sure it is a good fit before adopting.
