Tuxie's Story
Meet Tuxie, a beautiful one-year-old tuxedo who is just as sweet and refined as her namesake. Tuxie is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a furever home to help her navigate the world. She might be a bit of a wallflower at first, but underneath that shy exterior is a girl who just wants to be near her person and feel like she belongs. She is seeking a quiet, predictable home where her family can shower her with affection and help build her confidence. Tuxie would be happiest in an adult-oriented home (kids 12+ please) without dogs, as she prefers a peaceful environment. She can be your "one and only" if someone is home often to keep her company, though she would also do well with another calm feline friend. We want to be very transparent about Tuxie's health so she finds the perfect match. Tuxie has been diagnosed with feline asthma (lower airway disease). While this sounds a bit technical, it essentially means she has a wheeze and some eye drainage that will be a part of her life. The great news is that with a little bit of mindful care, it isn't expected to shorten her lifespan or change her sweet quality of life. She just needs a family who is comfortable with her diagnosis and ready to provide a low-stress, smoke-free environment. If you have plenty of love to give and a quiet corner of your heart for a special girl, Tuxie is waiting to meet you! Her adoption fee is $225.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
