Tux - CHOW HOUND's Story

Meet Tux, lovely soft tuxedo girl who was tossed out of her home, left to fend for herself with other stray cats in a trailer park. We believe she was bullied by these cats and dogs. Fortunately, she was willing to be trapped and is now on her way to a better life with an adopter who truly cares for her.

Tux likes pets, will lean in for more and is very sweet. She is an amazing biscuit maker and will impress you with her skills. Tux also likes to rub against your legs to ensure you are aware of her presence. Her markings are stunning and she is super soft.

Because of Tux's experience with other cats and dogs she must be an only pet. We believe she would do best with a single adopter or couple, possibly a family with much older, respectful kids. Tux would likely do very well with an adopter who was home often.

If you would like to meet this striking beauty she can be found at the Burton St. Chow Hound 2490 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids.

Tux has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Tux has an approximate birthdate of 02/05/2020. Her adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Tux or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
