Tux's Story
Hi, my name is Tux (.a.k.a. Meatball)! I lived outside in the cold all my life. My feeder reached out for help and the Cat Rescue Network brought me in on January 3rd, 2026. I am a big male cat with stunning green eyes, big fluffy cheeks and unique Tuxedo markings …I even have a little heart nose! I am estimated to have been born in June 2024.

My foster Mom says I am a social butterfly! I am not shy and I am the most chill cat ever! I like everybody and I will hang out wherever. I love belly rubs, scratches and being brushed. I am curious about everything …even the water in the kitchen sink! I will talk to you and follow you. I love to play with you and on my own with toys and wands and I love to pounce on paper! You can clip my nails easily. I use the litterbox and a scratching post. I eat and drink well.

I would be good in a quiet home as an only cat or I would like another cat around the same age to play with. I have not been around dogs or children. My foster mom can’t say enough good things about me, she thinks I am purrrfect!

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada.
