Tux's Story

Our handsome gentle giant, Tux, is now available for adoption! His foster mom describes him as “the perfect cat” and “the sweetest cat in her house.” Tux is calm, social, and loves attention (and making biscuits!). He’s gentle with his paws, good with other cats (including his foster sister, Dottie), excellent with his litter box, enjoys wand toys, and just wants to be near his people. He would do best in a home with no dogs or small children. Tux is about 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV negative. He is FIV+, but because he’s such a gentle soul, he can happily live with other friendly cats. He needs to be in a dog-free home though. An adoption application must be approved before setting up a visit to meet a cat or kitten. If you are not approved for a certain cat, it does not mean you are not a good candidate for adoption, but you may not be the best match for that cat. The cat's foster has final say on who adopts their cat or kitten. There is a contract that must be signed, as well.
