Turtle's Story

Turtle is one of the sweetest kittens you'll ever meet! When you walk into a room, he chirps to greet you and anxiously waits for you to sit down so he can love on you. As soon as you sit down he's in your lap purring and making biscuits. He loves to roughhouse with his siblings and then pass out in the sun for a nap. He's equal parts playful and lazy. When he's had his fill of playtime he flops down in a warm spot for a snooze. Bonus points if you give him belly rubs while he drifts off.

This lovebug won't take long to find a home. Meet him ASAP!

This adorable kitten is currently FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) positive, but is showing no signs of illness and is completely healthy and active! FeLV is a virus that can suppress the immune system over time. It is contagious to other cats that have not been vaccinated against FeLV or who are not FeLV-positive themselves, so this kitten must live in a home as an only cat, or with other known FeLV-positive cats. The virus poses absolutely no risk to dogs, people, or any other non-feline pets. With love, proper veterinary care (including twice-yearly check-ups), and a safe indoor environment, many FeLV-positive cats live long, fulfilling, and happy lives. Adopting this kitten means opening your heart to a truly special friend who deserves a chance at a wonderful life!
