Turnip & Parsnip (bonded pair)'s Story
Hello, we are Turnip and Parsnip! A pair of 6 month old sisters looking for our forever home.

We’ve come a long way since we first arrived here! We might’ve been a little shy and nervous at first, but every day we get more and more confident, and it’s honestly so fun to watch! Since we’re a bonded pair, we do everything together and would love to stay that way. Having another friendly cat or dog around could be fun, too!

Turnip: Hi, I’m Turnip! At first, I was a little more on the quiet side, just watching everything from a safe distance. But now, I’m starting to join in the fun more! I love to chase toys, get the zoomies, and am a big fan of treats. As I’ve been getting braver, I’ve discovered that I love my morning pats and am a real sucker for attention. It’s been so fun to see myself come out of my shell—I’m a work in progress, but a very cute one, if I do say so myself.

Parsnip: Hey, I’m Parsnip! I’m the bigger, slightly bolder sister. I’m usually the first one to explore new things, and I make sure it’s safe for Turnip before she joins in. I’m a big fan of zoomies and love it when you play with us! We have also learned to love it when our foster parents give us lots of pats. It’s so fun to see how much we have progressed!

Everyday my sister and I are getting more and more comfortable, while we aren’t quite ready to sit on your lap we still like to be close to you and are hoping you will patient with us while our confidence grows. Once we get comfy, we’re all about the pats, the toys, and the zoomies. Watching us grow in confidence is one of the best parts of adopting us—you’ll get to see our personalities blossom into something really special. If you’re okay to take it slow with us but are looking for two sweet, playful sisters who are ready to fill your home with love, zoomies, and definitely some treat-driven cuteness, we’re the ones for you!

We came from a large group of cats who had multiplied quickly and were able to be caught and taken on through a collaboration with other local animal rescue societies. Some of the cat crew were more socialised than others, and will require a little more patience and understanding to feel comfortable in our new surroundings. The mom cats and suspected kitten daddy have been spayed and neutered to prevent any more litters and have stayed with their guardian who reached out for assistance.

https://www.whistlerwag.com/cats/turnip-and-parsnip

Ready to give this loving pair a second chance and show them all that life has to offer?
